FAFSA (For US Citizens and Eligible Noncitizens only)
- Given the delays with processing associated with the updates to the FAFSA, there is no penalty for students whose FAFSA applications are received after the financial aid deadline.

- Complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA so we may determine your eligibility for federal financial aid, including the Pell Grant, Federal Work Study, and Federal Direct Student Loans.
- There is no cost associated with completing the FAFSA.

- Columbia will need the student’s full legal name and Social Security Number (as listed on the Social Security Card) in order to download the FAFSA. If the student’s legal name and SSN were not provided in their admissions’ application, we will need a copy of the student’s Social Security Card to update our records. - PLEASE NOTE: Your FAFSA may be selected by the Department of Education for a process known as Federal Verification. If selected, Columbia is required to verify your family’s household and financial information on the FAFSA in order to confirm your eligibility for Federal Aid.
