Self-Help Expectation

The self-help expectation is the amount we expect you will contribute toward your college costs from term-time work- approximately 10-12 hours per week- for the academic year. You may see this amount detailed on your award letter as either “Student Employment” or “Federal Work Study." Your earnings will not be applied as a credit to your Student Account Statement; instead your biweekly paycheck is paid directly to you for the amount of hours you worked.
