PLEASE NOTE:

Columbia has limited funding for international students, and candidates for this funding should be aware that need is taken into consideration at the time of admission.

As such, international students must indicate their request for financial aid on their admissions application and cannot change their request after submitting their application.

If an international student qualifies for Columbia's need-based grant in the year of their admission, they will be able to apply for Columbia Grant in future years.

IMPORTANT: International students will not be eligible to apply for Columbia's need-based grant during their undergraduate program if one of the following circumstances is true:

• The international student did not apply for financial aid at the time of admission.
• The international student applied for financial aid and did not qualify for Columbia Grant.
